Log management tools shouldn’t be so complicated that you need a Ph.D. to write a log query, nor should they require a small army to manage your logs. Not to mention the costs of a tool - licensing costs, infrastructure costs, and people costs - shouldn't be the equivalent to funding a small island. You should be able to easily write a search query, with a faster return on the data. Your team should be able to quickly make sense of their log data while feeling confident that they are keeping your infrastructure secure. You should be able to afford the right tool for your organization.
